Happening now
What's out there this season.

Wigwam Hill Loop
Climbs to the foundation of the 1930s Wigwam Hill fire tower with long views toward the Blackstone Valley. Returns past the Taft cellar hole and a documented section of the Nipmuc Path.
Peak trail conditions
All trails are dry and well-maintained. Wigwam Hill and Inman Hill ridges offer the best views. Boardwalks at Meadow Brook are solid.
Wildlife watching
Active beaver colonies at Quissett WMA. Listen for American bittern in the sedge patches at Inman Pond.
Fishing at Inman Pond
Largemouth bass and bluegill are active. Valid MA freshwater fishing license required.
Heat and hydration
Carry water on all hikes. The Wigwam Hill climb gains 354 feet of elevation with minimal shade on the upper ridge.

Local history layer
The places that make Mendon, Mendon.
Mendon was incorporated in 1667 — one of the first seven towns in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The trails you walk today cross fire-tower foundations, colonial homestead ruins, Nipmuc travel routes, and 19th-century farming landscapes. The interactive map surfaces all of it as an overlay you can toggle on any hike.
